As a member of our team, you will be working in our fast paced environment and you are ready to get your hands dirty (not actually dirty, because hopefully you are a neat freak like us). Our most discussed perk at Expensify is the offshore, where we spend a month working abroad as a team. This year we are working in Cambodia and Thailand, and we want you to join us!
You love organization and the challenge of prioritizing so much that you used to organize your friends’ rooms in high school for fun (was that just me?). In college, each color of your highlighter collection had a specific meaning only significant to you (still just me?). You bring order to chaos and your friends rely on you as the planner and executer of any event. In your day to day life, you are self driven and motivated, you know how to solve problems on your own and can figure out even the toughest challenges without breaking a sweat (it’s ok to sweat, I actually sweat frequently, but hopefully you know what I mean). You have some (1-3 years) experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or an HR Coordinator. You’re passionate about what you do and excited about an opportunity to join our company.
About the Job: People Operations Associate
Based in our SF office, we have about 90 employees worldwide that the People Operations team is supporting. There are a million balls (mild exaggeration) to juggle at any given time such as:
Helping with candidate management and facilitating the interview and onboarding process
Expanding recruiting processes across the organization and contribute to new strategies
Assisting in the administration and compliance within the People Ops team
Working with employees to answer any and all questions about payroll, benefits, logistics etc.
Collaborating with our “secret weapon” offices in rural Michigan, London, and our remote employees to coordinate travel and activities
Planning our company events (90 employees and growing when we are all in one office)
Lending a hand in office organization when needed
Maintaining our unique company culture
And so much more!
